Existence of Oscillatory Solutions for Functional Differential Equations of Neutral Type

One of the important problems in the qualitative theory of functional differential equations of neutral type, which has currently received wide attention, is to discuss the existence of solutions, either oscillatory or nonoscillatory, of the equation under consideration. As far as the nonoscillatory solutions are concerned, there has been a lot of systematic investigations, and numerous results can be found in the literature regarding the construction of such solutions with specified asymptotic behavior at infinity; see e.g. the papers [1–6]. However, virtually nothing is known about the existence of oscillatory solutions of neutral functional differential equations even for the first-order case. The objective of this paper is establish sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for neutral equations of the form
